Task

Street food is the most vibrant and exciting sector of British Food right now, with young chefs turning out restaurant quality menus at takeaway prices. A lot of the current restaurants all started their lives on the street. We were asked to create a name, logo, identity and campaign for a mobile street food event.

Solution

The event name ‘Eats from the Street’ was developed to showcase this evolving food culture. The creative had an urban feel to it, to communicate the street element and used different cutlery from around the world. The iconic red Routemaster bus become the promotional vehicle and backdrop of the event, so this featured heavily in the advertising to provide a fun hook as well as something to look out for at the event.
